New Swimmer Information/Evaluations
Evaluations are held for swimmers who have never been part of the WEST Express Swim Club or have not participated in the club during the past year.
Your swimmer should be able to swim 25 - 50 yards of freestyle and backstroke comfortably without stopping. They should also be comfortable in shallow and deep water. Generally, swimmers are at least six years old.

New swimmers to WEST Express must meet with the coaching staff for an evaluation. No swimmer should register before meeting the coaching staff. If you have any further questions, please get in touch with Head Coach Heidi Miler at [email protected]

There will be a quick in-the-water evaluation and an information session to learn more about joining the WEST Express Swim Team.

INFORMATION FOR SWIMMERS:
Swimmers should wear their swimsuits to the pool and bring a pair of goggles.
INFORMATION FOR PARENTS:
Parents must accompany swimmers to the pool and must complete the evaluation form.
TEAM PLACEMENT:
Coaches will place swimmers in groups based on each swimmer's individual abilities.

PRACTICES:
Practice calendars will be sent out before the start of the season.
